SAUDIA Prepares for the Summer Season with 6.5 Million Seats on 30 Thousand Flights Marking a 30% Increase from Last Year

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA), the Kingdom’s national flag carrier, is prepared to meet the growing demands of this year’s Summer season and it’s particularly significant as it follows two Summers of lockdown and extreme health and safety precautions.

​The months of July and August are expected to regain theirpeak time status and SAUDIA plans to provide 6.5 million seats on 30,000 flights throughout the duration of these two months. A team of specialists will be monitoring the possibility of  demand greater than anticipated, which could prompt the airline to provide more seats on more flights to guarantee the best travel experience for its guests

As of June 30th, SAUDIA will be offering 765,600 seats weeklywhich is 30% more than the Summer of 2021. The airline will nowoperate 3,500 flights every week, connecting the country to a network of scheduled routes across four continents.

SAUDIA’s summer plan also takes extensive measures to meet all the necessary requirements to provide a safe and pleasant flying experience. This includes maintenance, catering, and ground services that ensure on-time takeoffs and landings. SAUDIA’s fleet of 144 aircraft is more than capable to support the extra flights and seating capacity for both domestic and international tourism. The fleet includes 33 Boeing B777-300s, 18 Boeing B787 Dreamliners, 46 Airbus A320s, 15 Airbus A321s, and 32 Airbus A330-300.
