GACA: Attack Targets King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Operations Temporarily Suspended

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announces that on Saturday, October 10, 2026, corresponding to 29 Rabi’ Al-Thani 1448H, King Khalid International Airport was targeted by an attack, amid continued attacks targeting civil aviation facilities in the Kingdom. The attack resulted in a number of injuries, which are currently being assessed.

GACA clarified that airport operations have been temporarily suspended pending the completion of damage assessments and safety inspections of airport facilities, in coordination with relevant authorities. Further updates will be provided.
