Prominent Presence for the International Medical Center at the 8th Global Health Exhibition in Riyadh

The International Medical Center (IMC) participated in the 8th edition of the Global Health Exhibition 2025, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Health from October 27–30 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center.
This year’s participation stood out with its remarkable diversity and momentum marked by the announcement of major expansion projects, the signing of several key agreements, recognition and appreciation from senior Ministry of Health officials, and the large turnout of visitors eager to explore IMC’s unique programs and pioneering initiatives.

IMC’s booth had the honor of welcoming His Excellency Fahad Al-Jalajel, Minister of Health, followed by His Excellency Eng. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, Deputy Minister of Health, both of whom reviewed IMC’s latest expansion projects and its leading initiatives in holistic healthcare and wellness innovation. They were briefed on IMC’s vision to establish a globally unique model of comprehensive healthcare centered on the human being with quality of life and holistic wellness at the heart of every service.
The officials also explored the vision behind IMC’s new Medical College, the most advanced of its kind in the region, which combines cutting-edge AI technologies in health education and training with a distinctive mission to prepare the “Wise Physician” — one who embodies the human attributes that artificial intelligence cannot replicate: competence, compassion, comprehensiveness, and advocacy for health.
During the exhibition, IMC received yet another honorary recognition from the Council of Health Insurance, ranking among the top-rated healthcare providers under the “Daman Classification Program” for the first half of 2025 in recognition of its excellence and commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services to insured beneficiaries.
In terms of strategic collaborations, IMC signed a partnership agreement with Philips SNG, acquiring state-of-the-art medical technologies, including: a dual-plane catheterization lab, a hybrid vascular imaging system with a flexible platform, and a high-performance echocardiography system.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Walid Fitaihi, Chairman of the Board and CEO of IMC, and Akram Sirfi, CEO of Philips SNG.
IMC also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with AFAQ, a leading company in health education technologies, aiming to advance digital transformation in medical training and enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare education.
To strengthen scientific collaboration and knowledge exchange, IMC signed a cooperation agreement with the National Institute for Health Research to support scientific research, innovation, and researcher development, and to launch joint research projects contributing to healthcare advancement.
In a landmark step to promote medical AI innovation, Dr. Walid Fitaihi and Prof. Pierre Magistretti, Vice President for Research and Director of the Smart Health Initiative at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), signed an MoU between IMC and KAUST to establish a partnership focused on research collaboration and wellness management.
Finally, IMC signed a strategic partnership with King Abdulaziz University (KAU) to enhance research, training, and student development and to foster a culture of longevity, wellness, and holistic health, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 goals in the health and education sectors.
It is worth noting that the International Medical Center the first private hospital accredited to train physicians in Saudi Arabia, and a regional leader in health education with over 90 awareness films produced in multiple languages continues its visionary journey with over SAR 3 billion in expansion projects, including:
IMC Makkah, IMC Obhur, IMC Medical City (Madinah – Uhud), and The Medical College, a unique institution established in partnership with global universities to prepare the “Human, Wise Physician.”
