King Abdulaziz International Airport Receives 140 Passengers Evacuated from Socotra Island

Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport received, on Thursday, an evacuation flight arriving from Yemen’s Socotra Island, carrying 140 passengers of various nationalities, including four Emirati citizens, as part of humanitarian evacuation operations overseen by Saudi Arabia.
Upon arrival, the relevant authorities immediately provided comprehensive care and services to the passengers, including facilitating immigration and security procedures, offering meals and essential services, and securing accommodation for stranded travelers until their onward travel arrangements are completed, within a coordinated framework involving government and operational entities.
The flight was received by senior officials from Jeddah Airports Company, along with representatives of government and operational authorities at the airport.
